Samsung needed an experiential activation to inspire O2 customers to purchase the new Samsung Galaxy Note 9 in store. And they wanted our help.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 9’s brand-new S Pen allowed users to point, pose, and click from anywhere. We wanted to get shoppers hands-on with this new pieced of tech and set Samsung apart with the push of a button.
What We Did:
So, we combined the device’s wireless capability with its revolutionary intelligent camera to create a photo opportunity controlled with just the click of an S Pen. And we showcased its precision with the help of professional illustrators in store.
During the pre-launch phase, we invited world-class illustrators to O2 stores to demonstrate the capabilities of the Note 9 and its S Pen, by creating bespoke artwork through the precision live and on the device itself.
Pop, Pose, Press!
The Galaxy Note 9’s brand-new S Pen and revolutionary intelligent camera meant that you didn’t need to be holding your phone to take an epic selfie. So, for launch, we created a remote photo booth, where confetti would engulf customers and they could strike a pose, click the S Pen and the Galaxy Note 9 would capture the amazing scene from a distance.

As if covering them in confetti wasn’t interactive enough, we continued getting shoppers hands-on at our bespoke demonstration stations. Customers could play exclusive versions of FortNite, create personalised emojis, and more. The content was mirrored onto in-store screens and the device’s powerful battery kept it going all day on a single charge.
