Since January, we’ve been celebrating our 35th anniversary; flipping through old campaigns, showcasing our successes and generally slapping ourselves on the back.
All of a sudden, all of that doesn’t seem as important. You don’t need us to tell you that it is, without doubt, a very confusing time. There seems to be as much self-doubt as self-isolation, as many empty shops as empty shelves and as much left unanswered as there is left unsaid.
Our 35 years of experiences includes being part of the community in Ascot and that means that we’re acutely aware of the impact that the current global situation is having on a much more local scale.
So, we’ve decided to use the platform for something different. Something better. Something more important.
For the time being, we’re going to stop talking about ourselves and talk about everyone else instead. And by ‘everyone else’, we mean local businesses. And, hopefully, that’s you.
Yes, this is a time to keep your distance. But, it’s also a time to pull together and prove that we are so much more than the sum of our parts.
Everyone could use a helping hand. Now more than ever.
So, let’s keep talking. Watch this space.
