Celebrating the launch of the new Samsung Galaxy S9/S9+ device, we gave customers that little bit of extra magic in-store on Friday, supporting Samsung and O2 across 35 stores.
Throughout the week, customers were able to collect their phones prior to the official launch, receiving a goodie bag of treats and gifts for their loyalty.
On Friday, launch day, we deployed a demonstration area to show customers how to get the most out of the highly-rated camera on their new handset. A prize wall for customers collecting their new devices generated interest through exclusivity. Living statues helped showcase the device’s slow-mo camera. Illusionists wowed and entertained whilst mocktail bars served topical purple drinks to customers.
Debbie was the Senior Project Manager for the activity: “This has been a really exciting project to work on. I loved seeing all the ideas brought to life and experiencing the customer and store reactions to every touchpoint within the activity.
I’m looking forward to receiving footfall and sales figures – as well as the results of a survey that was sent out to the stores to share their thoughts on the activity.”
